Slim Bearings Manufacturer

In order to help customers find the right slim bearings for their applications, Ritbearing Corp. has created a new manufacturing division, Slim Section Bearings, Inc., which produces American-made thin section bearings. The company, which is a leading bearing wholesaler and distributor, recognized that there is a demand for thin section bearings in the U.S., and they have responded to that demand by developing a high-quality, DFARS-compliant company.

Kaydon Reali-Slim MM(r)

The Kaydon Corporation Bearings Division has updated its catalog of Reali-Slim thin-section bearings, adding 40 new part numbers and a greater availability from stock. The catalog is available in print form and as a downloadable PDF file. The new catalog also introduces an 8 mm series of sealed metric Reali-Slim(r) bearings, adding 28 new part numbers and new bore sizes.

The Kaydon Reali-Slim MM (r) series metric thin section bearings feature a compact, lightweight design. They are available in different sizes ranging from 8mm to 20mm. This makes them an excellent choice for applications that require high precision and corrosion resistance.

Kaydon Ultra-Slim(r)

Kaydon Ultra-Slim(r) high-precision bearings offer precision and long-life performance. They are designed and manufactured to exact specifications. A white paper prepared by Kaydon demonstrates their superior performance in demanding applications. Whether you need a high-precision bearing or a light-weight option for your existing system, Kaydon Ultra-Slim bearings are a smart choice for your application.

Kaydon's RK6 series of bearings are designed for outdoor applications. These bearings would corrode without protection, but Kaydon offers Endurakote(r) plating for corrosion resistance. These bearings are available in a wide range of sizes and materials and can be customized with ceramic balls. Kaydon's thin-section bearings are available in eight, thirteen, and twenty-mm cross sections, and can accommodate bore diameters from 20 to 360 mm.

RBC Thin Section Ball Bearings

RBC Thin Section Ball Bearings are precision-engineered solutions for industrial applications. These bearings feature high radial and axial load carrying capacities, low torque, and low temperature compatibility. Besides their versatility in industrial settings, RBC Thin Section Ball Bearings can also be used in special applications, such as radar, wire braiding, and tire/wire bracing.

RBC Thin Section Ball Bearings are available in a variety of materials, including brass and nylon. The A-Type and C-Type bearings feature one-piece circular pockets while the X-type and J-Type bearings have snap-over separators. Separator materials are brass, nylon, phenolic, and stainless steel. Depending on the design, the RBC Thin Section Ball Bearings can reach nearly twice the speed of a comparable steel bearing.

Kaydon slewing ring bearings

Kaydon manufactures slewing ring bearings that are available in a variety of configurations. The KH series, for example, are available in both geared and non-geared versions. These bearings feature full-depth involute teeth and are manufactured to an AGMA Class Q8 standard, providing reduced backlash and accurate positioning. They are available in sizes from 16 to 37 inches OD. They are generally available from stock and can be customised to meet specific application requirements.

Kaydon is a member of the SKF Group, which is a global leader in slewing ring and thin-section ball bearings. Its expertise and experience enable the company to provide custom-engineered solutions to meet the unique requirements of their clients. Its production facilities are ISO-9001-certified and equipped with an extensive knowledge of bearing design and manufacturing.

RBC Ultra-Slim(r)

The RBC Ultra-Slim(r) ball bearing is a special-purpose design for applications where weight, space, and load constraints are a factor. This thin section ball bearing has a cross-section that is four times the diameter of the ball. The nominal dimensions of this type of bearing are given in inches.

These thin-section ball bearings are designed for high moment load and limited space. They feature 52100 steel race materials that are durable and resist deformation under load. They have radial play and are manufactured to ABEC 1F tolerances. The cage also helps reduce friction and vibration.
